We need your help in many ways. Only by working together and supporting each other can we hope to achieve our objectives. You can help by
donating your time, by recycling through us, by shopping online through our website, by leaving a legacy or if finances allow, donating money to our charity.

By recycling the following items through our centre, using the online links, or handing into us at events we attend:
  • unwanted mobile phones.
  • inkjet cartridges (Canon, HP and Epson only)
  • toothbrushes, toothbrush heads from electric or battery toothbrushes and toothpaste tubes, crisp packets, biscuit wrappers and a whole host of other items. Check our local recycling directory for a full list of what we collect.
  • and if you have an old car you no longer want you can even recycle that through Giveacar and we will receive a donation.

Shopping

Whether you are purchasing out of necessity, or you are considering a more frivolous spend (though of course as an environment centre we discourage too many frivolous spends), if you click on one of the links below before you make your purchase, you can ensure that you give a little bit back as we receive a valuable donation for purchases made through these links at no extra cost to yourself. These companies have been chosen because our supporters use them and they help us to raise funds.*

Energyhelpline Pretty good energy and telephone comparison service. Use this service to check your energy tariff.

Kelkoo – This is a very useful facility that allows you to check the prices of hundreds of items at hundreds of online retailers. Whenever you are thinking of buying an item on the internet please check out the price by using the comparison facilities at Kelkoo first.

Lottery

We don’t run raffles or similar fundraising schemes like most charities but we are part of the Essex Lottery. Tickets cost £1 and you have a chance to win up to £25,000. We will receive 50p on every ticket bought.
