Energy Saving Service

We operate a free impartial energy switching service from our office by appointment or online

We were members of the Big Energy Saving Network from 2013 to 2015, a project funded by the Department of Energy and Climate Change to offer a free, impartial energy bill review service to local (primarily those who are disadvantaged) consumers. In addition to reviewing energy bills and advising if cheaper options are available, we will check to see if you are entitled to other benefits such as the Warm Home Discount and see if other options such as loft or cavity wall insulation will benefit you.

In addition to offering a free energy review service under the Big Energy Saving Network we offered talks on the benefits and disadvantages to consumers of switching energy providers to local groups and to Frontline Workers such as social workers whose clients include disadvantaged people.

We are not currently receiving funding for this project but have decided to continue to offer an energy review service to everyone by appointment at our office.

If you would like to receive more information on this service, want to book a review appointment, or you want us to provide a talk to your group or staff members (subject to funding being available) please contact us.

The service is operated in partnership with Colchester Borough Council.
